12V Diesel Heaters

12V diesel heaters run off a car or leisure battery, so they work anywhere: vans, campers, boats, tents and garages without a socket. The glow plug draws about 8 to 10 amps for a minute or two on start-up, then the heater needs just 1 to 3 amps.

A healthy leisure battery will run one overnight. Many heaters here are 12V/24V; some add a 240V adapter for use at home.
