8kW Diesel Heaters

8kW diesel heaters suit double garages, workshops, barns and large uninsulated spaces. Many cheap listings say "5kW-8kW": treat 8kW as the peak, and expect less on the lower settings.

For a van or small room, 8kW is too big. It will spend its time on low, which soots up the burner. Check the size calculator first, and look at a 2kW heater for smaller spaces.
